Q. Can someone visit my home or site for an estimate or consultation?
A. Yes this service is free of charge. Please Contact us to setup an appointment.

Q. Do you charge for delivery?
A. Delivery is based on zip code and special requirements.

Q. Do you require a security deposit?
A. We require a 33% non- refundable deposit to reserve all rentals. This deposit will be applied to your balance upon collection of final payment. If cancelled deposit is non- refundable.

Q. How many glasses will I need for a cocktail party?
A. A good guestimate would be one glass per person per hour

Q. How much space do I need for a cocktail party?
A. You would need at least 8 square feet per person.

Q. How much space is required for a sit down dinner?
A. You would need at least 12 square feet per person.

Q. If I’m having a buffet party how many plates should I order?
A. A good guestimate is about two plates per guest, this may change if you are serving more than one main course.

Q. What are your delivery hours?
A. Our standard delivery 9am to 5pm, Monday through Saturday However, we do understand that many location, venues and events do not fall within these parameters, and therefore, we operate 24 hours a day seven days a week to meet your event requirements. Deliveries and pickup that don’t fall within our standard delivery hours will be charged an additional fee.

Q. What are your showroom hours?
A. Sterling Party Rental is open Mon-Fri from 9am to 5pm and on Sat. from 9am to 12pm. If your schedule does not allow you to visit us at these times, Please contact us to schedule an appointment.

Q. What should I do regard cleaning the rental equipment?
A. Please wipe food and rinse china and glassware, then place them in crates in which they were delivered. Regarding linens: make sure all linens are clear of food. Please do not place soiled linen in a plastic bag as this will cause mildew.

Q. What size dance floor do I need for my party?
A. It depends on the amount of guest. EX: if you have 200 guest you would have about half dancing so it would be 4 square ft. per person. 100 guests X 4 square ft. = 400 square ft. This would be a 20x20 dance floor.

Q. Why should I rent a tent from Sterling Party Rental?
A. Sterling Rental is a fully insured business; we also have a large range of tents sizes to cover small and large events. We maintain our inventory and inspect it regularly so that your event will look great. Our staff will also put up your tent in a timely matter.
